Maria Cordova violin
Hunter College High School '27
Maria has been playing violin since age 5. She is part of the orchestra at Hunter, performing 2-3 times per year, and has 1-2 private performances a year. She is a member of the Brick Presbyterian church and performs in their church services from time to time, which is where she realized how music helps her create a strong connection with God.

Audrey Xi violin, piano
Hunter College High School '27
Audrey has been playing piano and violin since the ages of 5 and 7, respectively. She is a violinist in the Hunter string orchestra and performs several times a year solo for both instruments. Additionally, she has a lot of experience performing in churches as parts of recitals and regular church services. Audrey enjoys using music to connect to the audience and to share a common emotion with the piece performed.

Ethan Yhun cello, piano
Hunter College High School '27
Ethan has been playing cello since 7th grade and piano since he was 6. He does (solo) performances once a year for the Tutti music studio and is a part of the orchestra at Hunter. Ethan attends Friends Presbyterian Church in Queens. Ethan enjoys how music lets him express himself and his faith and finds security in his faith knowing God is watching over him. He loves performing and using his gifts for good, as in the summer of 2024 he was able to perform at Church of the Heavenly Voice for a nonprofit recital.

Erik Bagnall piano
Hunter College High School '27
Erik Bagnall has been playing the piano since age 8. He plays mostly jazz and blues-style piano and is part of the senior jazz ensemble at Hunter. He attends St. Steven’s Lutheran church in Brooklyn and has even played the organ in a church service before.He appreciates the practicing and perfecting of a piece before a performance.

Sonia has been playing piano from a young age in competitions and concert within school as well as outside.

Ilina Jetley piano
Hunter College High School '27
Ilina started playing the piano when she was 4. She has recitals with her private teacher annually and she looks forward to a PennState piano competition this Spring. She loves performing because she loves hearing how with each performance, the piece sounds a little bit different allowing the piece to evolve as more people play it, demonstrating how music is never static.

Meera Bandreddi guitar
Hunter College High School '27
Meera has been playing guitar since she was 10. She started playing jazz and classical guitar at age 11. She studies and takes lessons at Manhattan School of Music. She is a guitarist at the jazz ensembles of both MSM and Hunter, performing 6 times a year. She enjoys exploring various genres, learning new pieces as well as analyzing them, and loves performing because it allows her to share her love for music and the emotions associated with it.

Romir Mukherjee guitar, drums

Romir has been playing guitar for 8 years, and drums for 2, and has explored almost every genre. He has played guitar for the jazz ensemble at Hunter, as well as playing several small shows at bars. He has performed drums for a few live shows and enjoys playing in a band. For Romir, music has always been an outlet to destress and be more creative outside schoolwork.

Kalika has been playing classical guitar since age 9. Ever since, she has felt music brings her peace and gives her purpose. She specializes in classical and electric guitar and is always looking for more opportunities to perform!

Kavya Bhat bass guitar

Kavya has been playing bass guitar since fourth grade, and played in a band with her friends for 2 years. She has continued performing because she loves to see the joy in peoples' faces when they hear live music.
